Bucket List Worthy Hotels....Part 1

I have a bucket list that's a mile long-and I'm constantly adding to it. It includes everything from experiences to countries and even specific hotels. Check out some of these bucket list worthy hotels!

Kakslauttanen Artic Resort
Where: Finland
What makes it bucket list worthy: You can choose to spend the night in a glass igloo-perfect for watching the northern lights through your roof. These individual igloos are heated, and have their own ensuite bathrooms.

Bonus: Instead of a glass igloo, you can choose to spend the night in a snow igloo! Be prepared-it's similar to spending the night in an ice hotel {see below}!
They also offer a unique activity-panning for gold on site! Also available is skiing, snowboarding, reindeer safaris, dog sledding, snowmobiling, an ice breaking cruise, and ice fishing.

Villa Katikies
Where: Santorini, Greece
What makes it bucket list worthy:

If you've never been to Greece, pack your bags and get on the next plane! The views alone make it bucket list worthy-pictures don't do it justice! The islands are stunning-but the Villa Katikies stands out for it's location, perched 100 meters above the Aegean Sea. The entire property has only seven suites, perfect for those looking for peace and privacy.

Bonus: An outdoor jacuzzi with a view!

TreeHotel
Where: Harads, Sweden
What makes it bucket list worthy: This is one of the more unusual looking hotels that I've come across. While they have several tree houses on their property, the Mirrorcube is the most usual. It's a luxury tree house 4-6 meters in the air.  If you're a nature lover, this is one to check out. And the accommodations aren't too shabby either-not bad for a tree house.

Koija Star Beds
Where: Kenya, Africa
What makes it bucket list worthy: It's an adventure just to reach one of these star beds-they can only be accessed by unconventional means, such as foot, horse, or camel. It's a once in a lifetime way to spend the night under the stars. When you wake up, join in one of the daily game drives, bushwalking, camel safaris, or kayaking all available on site.

Taj Lake Palace
Where: Rajasthan, India
What makes it bucket list worthy:  This palace, built right in the middle of Lake Pichola, dates back to 1743. It was built by a prince, and occasionally used as the official residence of rules. If it looks familiar, that's because James Bond's Octopussy was filmed on location.

That's all for now! I'll be back with more bucket list worthy hotels soon!
